Use this high-precision cotton swab from RS PRO for comprehensive cleaning and maintenance of electrical components. It features a cotton bud wrapped around a stem made of polypropylene (PP) material, known for its durability, so it doesn't bend or break.
The swab is antistatic treated to protect you and any electrostatic discharge sensitive (ESDS) equipment from electrostatic discharge (ESD). It's also 81 mm long to allow for contactless operations and for spots that may be difficult to reach, with a pointed tip for tight areas. As it's made of soft and non-abrasive cotton material, it's designed so you don't have to worry about scratching surfaces like glass.
Its cotton makeup also means it's highly absorbent and ideal for use with liquid cleaning agents. Common applications of this cleaning material include printed circuit board cleaning and maintenance of semiconductors.
