The Phoenix Contact cable gland designed for armoured cables such as SWA, AWA, PWA, STA, SWB, ASA, CY, and SY. It is made from nickel-plated brass, suitable for Ex applications. The cable gland supports external cable diameters ranging from 27.9 mm to 40.4 mm and provides shielding. It features an M40 x 1.5 connecting thread and comes in silver.
If space is restricted at the fixing location of the screw connection, the armour can be attached at a location where there is more room to move
Final assembly can then be easily completed in the restricted space conditions at the fixing location of the screw connection
