Adafruit FONA 3G Mobile Communication Breakout Board - EU Version
This breakout board from Adafruit provides a simple way to add 3G mobile communication and GPS location data to your project. Measuring just 5 x 4.6 cm it is perfect for portable projects or remote location monitoring. Whether you need to use location-tracking, voice calls, SMS text messaging or data, you can with the FONA 3G board.
The board features a SIM5320 cellular module with integrated GPS. An active antenna is recommended for GPS.
Adafruit are currently working to add full GPRS TCP/IP and HTTP support. This module is recommended for experienced engineers. If you are just starting out with mobile communications then the Adafruit Mini Mobile Boards are a more suitable starting point (RS 124-5475 / 124-5474).

This module requires a microcontroller to function for example an Arduino UNO (715-4081). Any 3V to 5V microcontroller with a UART can send and receive commands over the RX/TX pins.
