Product Details
Eurotherm PID Controller
The Eurotherm 2400 series versatile, high stability temperature controller with self-adaptive tuning has an operating supply of 85VAC to 264VAC. The 1/6 DIN PID controller is 48mm wide, 48mm high and 150mm deep. It has a modular hardware construction that will accept up to 3 plug-in I/O modules and one communication module. The device is fully configurable on-site. It provides 4mA to 20mA PID heating, high alarm and low alarm at the output
Series 2000 one range all solutions
Series 2000 is a family of temperature and process controllers with different levels of performance in different sizes. Units share the same styling, wiring layouts and operating principles. Tactile buttons coupled with simple intuitive display formats make them easy to use. They can be used as simple ON/OFF controllers for non-critical processes, where some degree of oscillation is acceptable, or as PID controllers when stable, straight-line control of the process is required.
What is a PID controller?
In PID control the output from the controller is the sum of 3 terms: proportional, integral and derivative. These terms are used to deliver just the right amount of output to hold the process at the target value without oscillation or overshoot. For stable control, the PID values must be matched to the characteristics of the process. This is done automatically in the Series 2000 using advanced self-tuning techniques.
