Cooper Bussman Offset Tag Fuse - NSD16
Cooper Bussman's bolted tag fuse is essentially a fuse that is fitted with tags. Predominantly, this type of fuse is used within installations as a "weak link". They are designed to break when a fault occurs, such as an overcurrent or short circuit - they are a safety and damage measure. Cooper Bussman's fuses are commonly found within a multitude of industrial applications, electrical equipment and wiring systems.
Features & Benefits
The low-temperature rise enables the fuse to be suitable for high-density mounting applications
Fuse links, specifically designed for the protection of applications
Conforms to industry standards
Low voltage fuse
Suitable for three-phase applications
Suitable for type 2 co-ordinated applications as defined in IEC 947-4
Low power loss, typically 20% lower than the requirements of BS88
Holds a 550 V ac voltage rating
Dimensions are: L58.5mm x W12.7mm x H34.6mm
F1 fuse size
Fuse type is HRC
Has a current rating of 16A

What does HRC fuse type mean?
HRC (high rupture capacity) fuse type means that the circuit doesnt break as soon as an overload occurs. The tags have enough thickness to make allowances for current fluctuations and maintain their hold until arcing becomes sustained. This helps to prevent unnecessary circuit interruptions.
