Cooper Bussman Bolted Tag Fuse - British Standard
Cooper Bussman's bolted tag fuse is essentially a fuse that is fitted with brackets, these brackets allow the fuse to be bolted onto a fuse holder. Predominantly, this type of fuse is used within installations as a "weak link". They are designed to break when a fault occurs, such as an overcurrent or short circuit - they are a safety and damage measure. Cooper Bussman's fuses are commonly found within a multitude of industrial applications, electrical equipment and wiring systems.
Features & Benefits
The low-temperature rise enables the fuse to be suitable for high-density mounting applications
Fuse links, specifically designed for the protection of applications
Conforms to industry standards
Low voltage fuse
Suitable for three-phase applications
Suitable for type 2 co-ordinated applications as defined in IEC 947-4
Low power loss, typically 20% lower than the requirements of BS88

Why use a slotted tag fuse?
A slotted tag fuse is distinguished by the metal slotted tags that extend off the ends of the fuse. This tag can either enable the fuse to have an offset tag or be centred to the fuse. Predominantly, this type of fuse is used within installations as a "weak link". They are designed to break when a fault occurs, such as an overcurrent or short circuit - they are a safety and damage protection measure within electrical circuits.
Eaton British Standard Fuse, F1 Size, 2A NSD2
This British Standard fuse from Eaton is a weak-link device that prevents current overloads, overheating and short circuits. It has a cylindrical body with a thin offset tag at each end. These tags attach to your circuits fuse holder, and if a current level gets too high, the central wire in the fuse melts away, creating a physical break in the circuit. Use this general-purpose fuse in industrial environments to protect electrical equipment, wiring systems and circuit breakers.
Features & Benefits
F1 bladed tag design easily secures and slots into the fuse holder
2A (amperes) current rating for low-powered circuits
High rupture capacity (HRC) ensures it can safely interrupt currents of up to 80kA (kiloamperes)
20% lower power loss than the British Standard requires

What fuse holders does this device work with?
This device is commonly used with Eaton DIN rail mount fuse holders. The SC32N model provides the fuse with shrouded protection, as does the 32NN model which also comes with a fault indicator.
