EFM32 Happy Gecko Microcontroller Family
The EFM32HG Happy Gecko MCU family are specifically designed for energy efficiency with their sophisticated energy management system featuring 5 energy modes. Incorporating Low Energy USB (LEUSB) with crystal-less USB operation, integrated PHY and resistors, 5 volt LDO and dedicated RAM for endpoints thereby reducing your BOM and minimising the footprint for applications where space and power is at a premium.
Their very low active mode power consumption, reduced processing time and fast wake-up time from sleep mode (2μs) together with low standby current and autonomous peripherals make Happy Gecko MCUs a perfect choice for battery and power sensitive applications.
On-chip AES encryption enabling fast decryption.
Possible applications include smart meters, home automation, alarm & security systems and health and fitness wearables.
