HT12E/D Encoder/Decoder chipset

The HT12E/D chipset works with an Ir or RF transmitter and receiver device to make a 4-button remote control system.

8-bit ID (Address) code set by switches
Encoder sends packet containing ID code and button-pressed data four times on serial channel
Decoder reads data packet and if ID matches it's own settings, data transferred to four data output pins
Received codes are checked three times
Power supply: +2.4V to +12Vdc
Operating temperature range: -20 to +75°C
Applications: Security systems, Smoke & fire alarm systems, Garage door controllers, Car door controllers, Car alarm systems
