MIC45116 Synchronous Step-down Regulator

A synchronous step-down (buck) regulator from Microchip featuring a unique adaptive ON-time control architecture. This highly integrated device incorporates a DC/DC controller, power MOSFETs, bootstrap diode, bootstrap capacitor, and an inductor in a single package. The internal inductor and MOSFETs are optimized to achieve high efficiency operation at a low output voltages. The device can deliver up to 6A of load current over an input voltage range of 4.75V to 20V without the need for any additional cooling.
