Eaton Undervoltage Release Circuit Trip, 208 to 240V AC Control Voltage - NZM1 Series - 259442 NZM1-XU208-240AC
Looking for a way to discontinue power supplies when problems arise? This undervoltage release circuit trip from Eaton will cut the electricity when it detects ground faults, short circuits or thermal overloads. It's designed for the non-delayed disconnection of the NZM-series circuit breaker or N switch-disconnector whenever the control voltage dips below 35% to 70%. The unit blocks accidental contact with a circuit breaker's primary contacts to prevent damage and safety risks. Use it with your domestic, commercial and industrial electrical circuits to protect essential equipment.
Features & Benefits
• Robust and durable plastic housing won't ignite or spread fires
• Screw connection ensures a quick and secure fit
• Resistant to corrosion for a prolonged lifespan

What is undervoltage?
Undervoltage occurs when the average voltage drops below the rated levels of the relevant equipment. In other words, the supply voltage levels become lower than the recommended levels for an application.
Can undervoltage damage electronic equipment and components?
Yes, undervoltage damages electronic and electrical equipment. Some electronics and electric motors are vulnerable to low voltage, which causes these devices to draw more current and to consequently overheat. Motors exposed to constant undervoltage have a limited lifespan.
