This RS PRO glass cartridge fuse offers a convenient, low-cost method of protecting circuits and equipment from overload. The anti-surge fuse is T-rated, meaning it won't blow out or break the circuit if there are brief surges in current. This can happen when a device starts up or the filters stabilise.
The fuse operates in temperatures ranging from -55°C to 125°C and it has a glass body so you can quickly check if it has blown. As part of the RS PRO range, this 5 A fuse is stringently tested for consistency and durability. It conforms to a host of British and international standards, including UL, CSA and MITI, which ensure the integrity of miniature cartridge fuses.
You can use a miniature-size cartridge fuse to protect electrical appliances in domestic, industrial and automotive settings.
