RS Components Announces "Share Your Story" Competition Winner

Somchai Muninta, an engineer from Thailand, wins a trip for two to watch the 2013 FA Cup Final in London

Philippines, 18 March 2013 :

RS Components (RS), the trading brand of Electrocomponents plc (LSE:ECM), the world's leading high service distributor of electronics and maintenance products, has today announced the winner of its Asia Pacific "Share Your Story" competition.

Held in conjunction with the company's 75th anniversary in 2012, the "Share Your Story" competition invited customers to share their experiences about how RS Components has made a difference in their daily lives. 

After reviewing many good entries, the story submitted by Mr. Somchai Muninta, an engineer from Thailand, won the hearts of the judges. Mr. Muninta's story described how RS Components helped his company get back up and running after damage caused by the 2011 floods in Thailand. He will receive the prize of a trip for two to watch the 2013 FA Cup Final at Wembley Stadium in London, and a private tour of the RS Components global logistics centre in Nuneaton, UK.

The competition was open to all customers in the Asia Pacific region including Australia, mainland China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan and Thailand.
